Midcomp continues to provide remote technical support and essential supplies from 08:30am to 17:00pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Staff working remotely can be reached via the national number 010 020 9999.
“We’re offering free remote support to boost productivity,” says Sean. “For instance, users of Zünd cutting systems making face masks, face shields, aprons, and more can log in remotely. We’ll use our expertise to optimize cut files for maximum speed and efficiency. We can also take cut files and nest them as effectively as possible using Zünd nesting software, helping reduce media waste.”
Additionally, Midcomp offers a range of educational webinars to support businesses during these challenging times. This includes a world-first, pay-per-use programme for HP Latex customers, along with a webinar designed to teach digital printing and finishing basics, including tips for DTP file setup. Another session covers machine maintenance and software training.
For customers designated as essential service providers, Midcomp will dispatch engineers for technical services upon receipt of official documentation.
To adhere to safety measures and government regulations, deliveries are currently prohibited. However, ink, media, and spare parts can be collected at pre-arranged times, with the necessary documentation.
