Durst GAMMA 148 XD
Gamma 148 XD - Single Pass Digital Decoration Printer for printing widths up to 1400mm

BEST RATED SINGLE PASS CERAMICS DECORATION PRINTER FOR PERFORMANCE, PRINT QUALITY & SERVICE COSTS.

Compare to the previous Gamma printers, the Gamma XD Series feature a new, innovative printer design with new technologies that have significantly enhanced its performance. This new series of digital printers for pigmented ceramic inks, in fact, is the result of the experience developed by Durst, the first company to develop and introduce a digital printer dedicated to the ceramic industry back in 2004. The Gamma XD Series, thanks to its new printer concept with a new high performance and cost efficient printhead design and ink management system, provides an unreached print quality, reliability, and design flexibility. Gamma XD printers are rated the best single pass digital ceramic printers in terms of long-term repeatability, important for re-reproducing the same tile collections over time, uptime and very low service and maintenance costs.

APPLICATIONS

Floor tiles

Ceramic tiles are made from clay compositions and other inorganic raw materials. They are ground and/or slipped, moulded and subsequently dried and fired at temperatures from 1000°C/1830°F to 1250°C/2280°F to make them acquire the required properties in a stable way. FLOOR TILES: These tiles are usually denser and heavier than wall tiles nowadays mostly Porcelain stoneware. Available with glazed or unglazed surface, floor tiles are designed to have sufficient strength, impact and abrasion resistance to withstand weight and foot traffic. Porcelain stoneware is also suitable for outdoor use.

Wall tiles

Ceramic tiles are made from clay compositions and other inorganic raw materials. They are ground and/or slipped, moulded and subsequently dried and fired at temperatures from 1000°C/1830°F to 1250°C/2280°F to make them acquire the required properties in a stable way. WALL TILES Any ceramic tile is suitable for walls, but those specifically made, high-glossed and decorated are most commonly used. Wall tiles have a very soft glaze and porous body and therefore should never be used on floors or for outdoor applications.

Decorative tiles

Listellos to be used in conjunction with wall tiles to enhance apparence, durable picture tiles for decorative or indoor/outdoor applications, permament, lightproof outdoor signage, short run custom design tiles, photoceramics.
