Durst GAMMA DG
Single Pass Digital Structure Printer

REVOLUTIONARY SYSTEM FOR DIGITAL PRINTING OF STRUCTURES ON CERAMIC TILES.

The Gamma 141 DG single pass digital structure printer is designed for handling tile widths up to 1400mm and allows the creation of an unlimited number of unique designs with impressive visual matching and tactile effects to assure a very evident value added.

The visual and tactile effects obtained with Gamma 141 DG make the final product look extremely natural and hardly distinguishable from natural materials. This system finally allows to get out of the current product flattening (appiattimento) through a real technological product innovation that cannot be imitated without having this unique and innovative printing technology in house.

Gamma DG is designed for a full synchronisation with the Gamma XD digital décor printer to assure a substantial product differentiation with a clear visible value added which cannot be achieved with any other technology.

APPLICATIONS

Innovative tiles

Innovative ceramic tiles with unlimited, non-repetitive structures in perfect match with the decor for an extremely realistic, natural look and feel providing an immediately noticeable added value thanks to the revolutionary high resolution, digital printed structure with Durst Gamma DG ("RockJET™" and "VariStructure™" variable glaze laydown printing technologies).

Floor tiles

Ceramic tiles are made from clay compositions and other inorganic raw materials. They are ground and/or slipped, moulded and subsequently dried and fired at temperatures from 1000°C/1830°F to 1250°C/2280°F to make them acquire the required properties in a stable way. FLOOR TILES: These tiles are usually denser and heavier than wall tiles nowadays mostly Porcelain stoneware. Available with glazed or unglazed surface, floor tiles are designed to have sufficient strength, impact and abrasion resistance to withstand weight and foot traffic. Porcelain stoneware is also suitable for outdoor use.

Wall tiles

Ceramic tiles are made from clay compositions and other inorganic raw materials. They are ground and/or slipped, moulded and subsequently dried and fired at temperatures from 1000°C/1830°F to 1250°C/2280°F to make them acquire the required properties in a stable way. WALL TILES Any ceramic tile is suitable for walls, bbut those specifically made, high-glossed and decorated are most commonly used. Wall tiles have a very soft glaze and porous body and therefore should never be used on floors or for outdoor applications.

Decorative tiles

Listellos to be used in conjunction with wall tiles to enhance apparence, durable picture tiles for decorative or indoor/outdoor applications, permament, lightproof outdoor signage, short run custom design tiles, photoceramics.
